About me:
I moved to the Monaro when I was 7yrs old with my Family – Mum & Dad (Gail & Rick Lee), my 4 Brothers and my Nan & Pop.
Moving to this area as my Pop had worked for Snowy Hydro and once lived at Old Adamainby before moving away.
Living all around the Monaro form Cadigat Rd Adaminaby, Bungarby, Dalgety, Countegany & Cooma I attended Cooma Public & Monaro High School.
I have worked in a few different jobs where a lot of people would have met me – Cannons, Woolies South, Slaters Fuel Services and currently with Snowy Monaro Regional Council and have been for 11yrs in the Fleet department.
I met my best friend – Ryan Morgan 16yrs ago and have been happily married for 13yrs. In this time we have had 2 cracking children – Lee & Tyra.
I consider myself a happy go lucky type of chick who likes to do anything as long as it involves hanging with my family and friends and you can have a few coldies, lots of good food and laughs.
Why I am participating in Monaro Spectacular:
I am participating in the Monaro Spectacular in the hope that I can do my part to raise much needed funds for Monaro Committee for Cancer Research (McCr).
By playing my small part McCr can continue their amazing support to the community with cancer care and cancer research.
It’s an honour to be asked to participate and a small price to be able to contribute, whilst having fun and by hopefully helping someone out there in our Community and putting a smile on their face. Oh and outshine my husband who participated in Strictly Musical 2015.
My Choreographers are:
Kala Venables & Kayla Bogatek.
Monaro Committee for Cancer Research Incorporated
The Monaro Committee for Cancer Research was formed in 1996 by the daughter of a young Monaro mother who after a 5 year struggle lost her battle with cancer. Since its inception the mcCr has supported cancer outreach services on Snowy Monaro. In 2007 after much lobbying, a local oncology service was introduced to the Cooma Hospital. Local support raised in excess of $100,000 towards this project and today we have a successful outreach oncology service. mcCr is a local voluntary group of dedicated women working towards further cancer support and services for the Snowy Monaro Region.Your support will enable mcCr to continue this assistance for cancer sufferers.
