About me:
Pushing 50, wife to Peter, mother to Georgia, Henry and Josie Baff. I know I’m going to feel like a big phoney on stage, but I want to set a good example to my kids and my students. Take risks, put yourself outside of your comfort zone, support one another and live life to the fullest, because we never know what’s around the corner. No regrets!
Why I am participating:
I have recently been floored with the news that 2 of my close friends, my age, have been diagnosed with cancer. Supporting such a worthy cause, the mcCr , is actually an honour. This kind of event brings our community together in support of our friends and families who really need it.

Monaro Committee for Cancer Research Incorporated
The Monaro Committee for Cancer Research was formed in 1996 by the daughter of a young Monaro mother who after a 5 year struggle lost her battle with cancer. Since its inception the mcCr has supported cancer outreach services on Snowy Monaro. In 2007 after much lobbying, a local oncology service was introduced to the Cooma Hospital. Local support raised in excess of $100,000 towards this project and today we have a successful outreach oncology service. mcCr is a local voluntary group of dedicated women working towards further cancer support and services for the Snowy Monaro Region.Your support will enable mcCr to continue this assistance for cancer sufferers.
