About us:
We both grew up in Cooma North and after leaving home for university Iain moved back to Cooma to work at Boyce. Iain has been at Boyce for the last 8 years and has recently been appointed director at the start of this year. He has a passion for football and has enjoyed playing for the Cooma Tigers pretty much all his life.
Liz moved away from the area for boarding school then university returning 4 years ago to work in Community Health, where she has found her niche working within a great team. Liz has had no previous stage experience, her 6 year old ballet lessons consisted of her sitting outside crying on the steps.
Why are we participating in Monaro Spectacular?
As a nurse Liz has seen first hand the difference that mcCr have on people living with cancer and as a nurse's husband Iain hears second hand how important the work they do is.
We’ve seen how successful and how much fun previous mcCr events have been and are both very excited to be a part of this one!!

Monaro Committee for Cancer Research Incorporated
The Monaro Committee for Cancer Research was formed in 1996 by the daughter of a young Monaro mother who after a 5 year struggle lost her battle with cancer. Since its inception the mcCr has supported cancer outreach services on Snowy Monaro. In 2007 after much lobbying, a local oncology service was introduced to the Cooma Hospital. Local support raised in excess of $100,000 towards this project and today we have a successful outreach oncology service. mcCr is a local voluntary group of dedicated women working towards further cancer support and services for the Snowy Monaro Region.Your support will enable mcCr to continue this assistance for cancer sufferers.
